Join the West Baton Rouge Museum as we celebrate the life and legacy of beloved Port Allen teacher and Civil Rights leader, Edward Searcy. On display in the Brick Gallery from February 22, 2025 – May 25, 2025, West Baton Rouge’s Educator Edward Searcy, covers his decades long career as an educator at Cohn High School and then Port Allen High School. We will take this opportunity to hear from past students about his impact in the classroom as well as through his activism in the community.
