Corn Hole Tournament
The Corn Hole Tournament will be held on May 12th from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at Alexander Park Pavilion in Brusly and the cost will be $5.00 per person. We will have 2 categories of players. You may register at any cornhole game on Tuesday or by contacting Sonya at the Senior Spirit office 215-5290. Come join in the fun with your fellow Senior Spirit members!
Corn Hole games will be played at the Alexander Park Pavilion from 6:00pm-8:00pm on April 5th & 12th.

Grief Recovery Meetings

There will be a Grief Recovery Meeting at the WBR Senior Spirit Center on Monday, April 18th from 6:30pm-7:30pm. If you are interested in joining this group, please call Joanna Hynes, 924-6621.

Join in with your acoustic instrument for the Old Time Music from 3:00pm-5:00pm on April 10th & May 8th.
Enjoy the "Aliento a Tequila" exhibit from April 2-May 29 that explores the culture and traditions that gave birth to tequila, Mexico's national drink.
And lastly, view the "Women of the Blues" exhibit opening
April 14th honoring these remarkable women.

Blast from the Past! Quilters' Trip to Paducah, Kentucky

In April 2012, these ladies attended the American Quilter's Society Show from April 24-28, 2012 in Paducah, Kentucky. Terry Guidry led the group and they attended workshops and seminars and viewed hand-made quilts.

Michelangelo Exhibit- A Different View

A group of 15 Senior Spirit Members enjoyed the Michelangelo Exhibit on March 25th at the Raising Cane's River Center in Baton Rouge. They viewed the artistic works from the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel displayed on the floor of the exhibit hall- What a unique experience! The audio tour was given in the dialogue and perspective of Michelangelo along with his depictions and reasons for the Art.
This exhibit is available to see through April 17th.
